GREEN CORPS

Young people who want to save the Earth gather together,
We are a volunteer group that voluntarily practices saving the earth through many different activities and learning.

With the spirit of ‘growing trees called environment and human resources,’ Future Forest manages the global youth organization “The Green Corps” to train altruistic people needed in our society.

The Green Corps seek to save the earth by donating their talents to the world in their respective fields and to train open-minded people with neighbors.

They plan and manage many different programs for young people around the world to participate exciting volunteer spontaneously activities for saving the earth.

From 2002 to now, we’ve participated to operate many differnet volunteer and educational programs for Green Corps members about 2,000 in every year.

Now, they have grown into a global youth service organization, helping to save the planet.

Activity fields

Volunteer
  • Engage in many different of volunteer activities to help others and grow as a global citizen
  • Turning thoughts into action, starting a ripple effect that can change the world from small individuals.

*Example: Environmental protection activities, such as drinking water to prevent desertification/yellowing.
Developping abilities
  • Participation in workshops and in-country programs to raise participants’ environmental awareness and develop them as global citizens

*Example: Global Citizenship Education, Environmental Green Camp

Donating talents
  • Bridging global cultures through the talents of corps members
  • Various activities to spread environmental awareness

* Example: Cultural performance activities, video shooting/production, etc.

Networking
  • International exchanges with global youth, such as international conferences and Korea-China exchanges, and exchanges between senior and junior members of the Mirae Forest Green Service, which have been established for many years.

*Example: Mirae Forest Year-end Night, Korean Youth Delegation to Korea, Chinese Youth Delegation to Korea

Campaigns & donations
  • Plan/participate in projects to raise awareness and solve social issues beyond the realm of volunteerism

* Examples : Participation in Billion Trees in Desert with UNCCD, Saving the Planet exhibition, etc.
